VY Canis Majoris (Literally Means "Big Dog") is currently the Largest Star founded. But I have a question!
According to Scientist, this star has about, fewer than 100,000 years left to live. And Once it goes out, and BOOM, Hypernova (which is stronger than a Supernova).
That star is 4500 light years away from Earth, which is about
4500 Light Years = 4.25723778 x 10^19 Meters = 2.64532491 x 10^16 Miles
Light travels 299,792,458 m/s = 186,000 Miles/Second.
So my question is, If this star oges Hypernova, would it affect the Earth?
