Inside Anime Forum

This independent community includes selected historical discussions recovered with permission from public archives. Recovered posts retain their dates and source links, with member identities anonymized. Archives may be incomplete. New guest replies are clearly separate from historical posts. This site does not represent the former operators or members.

No profile required

There is no registration screen, email requirement or profile to set up. Threads and replies can be read by anyone. Clubrooms work with a shared key instead of an account. They are not listed publicly, but every holder of the key can read the full history and post. Keys do not prove anyone’s identity. Choose a reasonably private key, share it only with your group, and treat other people well.

Messages and stored data

The site saves complete conversations: public threads, replies and clubroom messages. Detailed server records also include request times, pages and actions, browser details, IP addresses, connection metadata, response status, database timings and errors. The site operator has access to this material. Saved conversations and request records in the database do not expire automatically.

A clubroom key stays in this page’s memory until you leave or refresh. On the server, it is represented by a one-way hash. Request logs exclude keys, authorization headers and cookies. Clubroom messages stay separate from public threads, but the server stores them and they are not end-to-end encrypted. Cookies and accounts are not needed to participate.

Words are all you need

Posts support plain text only: no HTML, image embeds, other embedded content or uploaded files. Posting limits are shared across a forum or clubroom to help keep spam down.
