lol
in my opinion, supersitions were created far back in the past to explain things off that mankind had no answer for at the time.
I am not supersitious, I believe that whatever is going to happen, will happen, no matter how much you avoid black cats, walking under ladders or trying to not break mirrors.

So far, I have wealked under countless ladders, across many paths of black cats and broken my share of mirrors... nothing happens, apart from me bursting out laughing!!
XD

So yeah, supersitioutions are a load of nonsense!

No, it is not logical. When it comes to superstitions, it is more like a habit or something cultural. I have no fear of black cat, they are simply cute.

I don't have any superstitions and I think it is far mentaly healthyer not to.
If you have too many superstitions, you will live your life worrying all the time and you won't have any piece.

...i dont know further study is needed but still it had to come from somewhere right i can only hope that someone will be able to enlighten us and explain because all stories lies and myths come from somewhere it's just the matter of finding where

They come from human imagination, provides a common identity as social animals and also serve as a means to control others.

Personally I do not believe in such practises. However I do practice them (Chinese New Year, Moon Cake Festival) but solely for cultural reasons and respect.

Moon cake festivial aka Mid Autumn Festival
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Autumn_Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, Zhongqiu Festival, or in Chinese, Zhongqiujie (traditional Chinese: 中秋節), is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people and Vietnamese people (even though they celebrate it differently), dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang Dynasty.[1][2] It was first called Zhongqiu Jie (literally "Mid-Autumn Festival") in the Zhou Dynasty.[3] In Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival.

Not something that I practice fully, just parts of the custom like eating moon cakes lol. Chinese New Year is a larger event.

Ahahaha. You should read up on Chinese culture and myths. The Chinese are very superstitous people. Like 4 sounds like death, 8 prosperity, 9 long life. 1 is the ultimate tao. 2 is the Yin and Yang. 5 and 9 being the numbers of the emperor (5 being the most middle and most divine, 9 being the largest and most powerful)
