I stopped crying a long time ago. At one point I decided that it doesn't do any good. So for some reason, even when I wanted to, I couldn't.

I know, right?! When my grandmother on my father's side died I held her hand as she passed. Yet I didn't cry at all. I wanted to yet I couldn't find it in me to. I felt so out of place because of it.

Its great to see guys in touch with their emotions. Also not afraid to admit they cry at times. I cant stand the strictly testosterone only guys who cant do anything but try to be macho. Its not only distasteful to me its boring.

I think the guys who are in touch with their right brain are more sensitive and also a lot more creative. Either in painting , drawing, or just in their thinking.

Its a shame more guys didnt put forward some views yet.
I guess the guys in touch are gonna be the minority , arent they, cos thats normal for society.

just an edit;- after thinking about some of the other posts.

I think you can still be in touch with your emotions and not cry. There are many emotions apart from crying.

OK, I put you all in this position, but I seem to have sidestepped my own vulnerabilities... well, in keeping with the music theme, I'll tell you my Achilles heel- The theme from '5cm per second'. I cannot get through a playing without crying. I don't know if it's the music itself, or the strong association I have for it concerning the subject of the Anime itself. But it-will-wreck-me-every-time. The Anime itself is such a sad piece too. Two young lovers torn apart by circumstances they can't control... well, basically you can't go back in time, you really can't recapture the moment, or the feeling.

Oh man, I took one look at the display pic and I just know I'm going to cry if I press play lol.

from the beginning a person has both male and female side...for a man to be affectionate its because of his female side,,,for a woman to be strong is because of her man side,,,its pretty normal for people to have this two personalities in them,,,we have this called an "anima" this applies to men who has a female side and "animus" for females who has a male side...so for those men who think that crying like a girl is too girly...or doing stuff that are "a bit girly" don't worry it will not affect your manliness..its the opposite,,,and besides,,,its normal,,,

This vid from Smile With me, was excellent and I can see why the music, touches his heart.

I think more recently its become easier for guys to express their thoughts and feelings but in doing so some have lost the side of them , which made them tough and resilient. This is because they are not used to such contrasting feelings and they need to get used to walking in the middle way.

Funny... At any rate even though I seem to be able to have emotions, in this life I've become stronger than I could possibly imagine. It's because I was suffering. The strength didn't come from ignoring it. It came from enduring it while staring my torment straight in the face. If you lose heart, your growth and development as a person is crippled in a way. However, if you keep your heart and listen to it, you'll be guided down your true path. At least that's what happened to me.
