Yeah, I guess the best all-around software for editing would be Sony Vegas. It seems to be really popular among the AMV makers I see on Youtube. But it's soooo expensive. T_T

I use Sony vegas because its very simple but still complex.
You can make a lot of things in it and the render is quite fast.
I also use Abobe After Effects but as a lot of people said its not eazy to learn it and you have to work a lot on it in order to learn it (or just watch tutorials).
I recomande the both programs for the editing sony vegas for cuting the videos and syncronize them and after effects for effects especialy, but you can use it for timing to

I would say Sony Vegas. All the big name people out there use it...

I admit though I have no experience with it myself, but I watch videos edited with it, and it seems to be capable of pretty much anything.

...it's also 600 dollars.

ive used sony vegas for years (and no dindt pay for it ) and i really think its best for editing overal

adobe aftereffect is good but you really need to know how to use it.
Should only even think about using adobe (in my opnion) if your missing some effect/ cant possible do it in sony vegas

Sony vegas has almost all you want to have (unless its some high 3d stuff)
you just need to know how to combine effect in vegas (for the advanced users)

Honostly though it depands on your editing style, personaly my stil is low effect and more about the flow/story so all i need is sony vegas

Sony Vegas PRO 9.0, no errors, no glitches like sony vegas pro 10 or even 11, I dunno about 12, maybe its good, but I wont ever give my Sony Vegas PRO 9.0 away ^^
