I wouldn't want to live for eternity, that's for sure.
I'd hate the idea of seeing all my friends and loved ones perish beside me.
I'd be a lonely and sad person.
And what's the point in living that long if you can't share the happiness with others, but for a few years, until they all pass away?

Live forever, hmmmm.

Well if its the never aging, not dieing from natural causes, or disease or hunger or from anyhting, and live forever and dieing from NOTHING... yeah I would do it. Of course I might get abit sad as I see loves get old and wither, but I am enough of a shallow selfish guy to really not care to much, youth forever, partying all the time, never dieing from alcohol poisoning, always looking fine and the millions of girls I would meet, the events i could see, the history I could make as one who can't die and live forever.

Of course after the first 80 odd years people would suspect something so I might have to move from country to country, changing aliases. but hey that should be fun. and I might be able to create a religion or a cult that will follow me and help me live my life around the world. And all the historical art to come int he future, I would be like keanu reeves, or slinder man. being in all aspects of urban legends and becoming myth and a legend. It might be a fun game after a while. who knows I might be able to somehow create an empire and rule for a few years and let someone else do it for me.

But if its the highlander kind of thing, I do the same thing, minus possibly putting myself in a situation to get my head cut off. but I think only another immortal could hurt me so eh. I have to see the manual first.

Being a legend would be pretty cool.

I thinkwe need to look at the flip side of the coin when choosing immortality.Society as we know it will crumble.Throw away delusions if what you call "normal" now.You as an immortal lives forever.Human interaction will be completely different than we know it.We cheerish relationships and family because we know it does not last forever. What if it does last forever? We will not cheerish it as much.Love can be thrown completely out of the window.Because boredom kicks in after the first 500 years with the same people.

But we are talking about you or I, a single person being asked whether they would live forever, the whole human race living forever would not work, we would be overcrowded.

Thats even worse.A single person living forever.Watch everyone around you die one by one.I would get bored with another person in 500 years but i probably be bored of being by myself in 100 years.
