The A-Levels Department here itself has a whole boatload of clubs and associations we can join. Right now I'm planning on joining a few clubs; it'll look good on my personaal statement later on. XD

For as small as the college I'll be attending is, they have probably well over 100 clubs. A lot of which that include sports (basketball, baseball, softball, track. No football D, art (maybe I'll join), outings, I believe they have an anime club, and just a bunch of others that suit interests. So for mine, I would have to say yes.

My college has a Japanese culture club and a Queer Straight Alliance club so it's a pretty comfortable and welcoming place to be. There's plenty of other clubs too, of course. These are just the ones I take interest in when I'm not busy.

My college was a hellhole. The administration claims to be open to new clubs but somehow we have to finance it ourselves with no clear instruction how many members is needed to get college sponsor (that sounds very dubious).
Choices for college sponsored clubs is very limited. The college seems to be prioritizing certain groups, mostly performing arts groups and sports clubs.

I was in the Japanese culture club and the student pride alliance were close friends of ours. The school refused to give us any funding though.

I never attempt to join any club in my community college. Probably because my shyness and social anxiety was holding me back. However, the club doesn't do much than what I expected.

There are very few clubs in my college...
the usual sport clubs like football, basketball, volleyball, don't know if there are more...
as well as the music club and choral club...
I'm not sure if we have an art club or not, but there's an art room
and an exhibiton in the students affair building...

there's also the student council and the Palestinian club...
Also every year there's a festival where each nationality has a tent
or a corner in the main square so students from same nationality
work together to make their corner...
sometimes people interested in some country work for the corner
without being from that country...
