Default Download vs Discs

As internet speed and download limitations are not being much of a problem now, would rather buy games, anime, movies, music, whatever digital content, on a Disc or would you just download it? And why would you chose such an approach? Would you use one for somethings an the other for other things?

Ehh, as I'm not much of a collector and I tend to BREAK my discs, I prefer download.

I mean, it's impossible to break a game that you have saved onto your Steam Account or Origin Account

HOWEVER, you need to remember one important thing.

Discs get cheaper quicker than Digital.

Some games that are 2-3-4 years old on Steam still cost $60 while the disc version of said game would be like $20.

here too....
Good games are $90 or so....
and I never saw them getting cheaper by time maybe just about $10 or so....

And bigger stores just get rid of all discs and bring the new ones once
they are not popular anymore...

Also as another point, while Steam has sales and such to keep things cheap, they also love keeping old things expensive

Take into consideration Call of Duty (The original Call of Duty from 2003, mind you). It might be like $5 physically but on Steam it costs $20, the same price as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (From 2009)
