Nature's Devastation

[COLOR="DarkOrchid"][FONT="Book Antiqua"][CENTER][FONT="Century Gothic"][SIZE="3"]Hnn, what to say, my Summer holidays have been drenched with water. How much longer Australia will continue to suffer with flooding in Queensland and bush fires in Western Australia is unknown. The rain is driving me batty, the humidity is unbearable and I am sick of seeing lakes form across our green paddocks turning them brown.
It would be nice to see the occasional sunshine pop out from the clouds before my holidays end. I'd like to venture outside without becoming soaked for once. I can say it's good to have water in terms of showers, baths, drinking water, cooking water, water for our gardens ect. But Australia certainly doesn't need all of these floods and droughts. So many people have lost their homes, injuries... even death tolls. It's quite sad to see such happening. But there's nothing that many can do, my family's struggling enough to pay the bills... considering my sister insists on running our phone bill up the wall... to hint off how bad that is... for one month $700. As you can see, quite an irritation. We'd help if we could, I think I have a few clothes that I could chuck in the lifeline bin, I know that at least it will come to be of some decent help.
That's all for now I suppose.
Christmas was nice and relaxing, New Year's was exciting and cheerful. Much better than 2010's new year.
Ja ne!

Its been so hard for people. Its like terrible when you have the extremems but one doesnt cancel out the other cos they are in different parts usually.

I know its not only human lives that are lost, animals are dying and animals that are already on the verge of extinction. Of course in the forest fires there is nowhere to run , quite often and no where to hide. The vegetation becomes cinders and so even if an animal survives the fire they have horrific burns and cant cope with no food and water.

Theres a lot of organisations helping but its all too easy to forget that many of these areas have large numbers of poor people who cant afford to buy another home, Or might not have been able to afford insurance. And when its on such a catastrophic level , its hard to not think that the insurance companies wont go bust.

I watched the news and really was worried about my friends who are there. I pray for their safety.
